Clifftops
clifftops
Hewn out of the Portland stone cliffs that line the edge of the Estate, Clifftops is an architecturally unique development of five lodges, offering real luxury in stunningly designed living spaces.
About Clifftops
Designed by Morrow+Lorraine, Clifftops enjoys one of the most resplendent views of the English Channel. Now forming an integral part of the historic Estate landscape, guests will be fascinated by the ancient fossils captured in the stone walls, and drawn by the ever-changing verdigris of copper as it retreats into the landscape.
Individually designed and named, each lodge is decorated with nature in mind, reflecting the surrounding environment. Together they tell the story of how the sea, stone, wildlife, weather and people shaped Church Ope Cove.

Environment
Our commitment to the environment, and our environment, inspires us to manage the Estate as sustainability as we can.
All trees and flora across the estate are managed through a defined ecology strategy agreed with Dorset County Council to protect the natural environment. We have deployed, and will continue to deploy, solar panels on the Estate with a commitment to continue to use renewables, and provide a bank of electric car charging ports.
Sustainability
At Penn Estate, alongside the Morris Group, we believe that business can be a force for good. We we positively manage the Environment in which we work, support the Heritage and Culture that surrounds us, and seek a positive impact on the Community of which we are a part.
Our approach strengthens and enriches the environments in which we work; actively restoring, repairing and enhancing the natural ecosystems we operate within
