Bespoke Wedding Styling – Abi & Ross

We recently had the pleasure of speaking with Abi and Ross, our first couple to celebrate their special day with us in May 2024. As their wedding day draws nearer, they have been working closely with our in-house styling and floristry team to create the perfect ambiance for their big day.

Our team at The Penn Creative Collection works closely with couples celebrating their special day at Pennsylvania Castle. We collaborate with them to bring their ideas to life, from floral arrangements to grand-scale styling. Our team is always ready to create whatever the couples have in mind.

Abi and Ross who talk us through their chosen themes and inspiration for styling.

What theme & colour scheme are you going with for your styling, and why?

For our theme/colour scheme we are going for a blend of neutral tones with accents of mocha, blush, ivory and gold. We chose this colour scheme as we wanted the décor to be classy, elegant and timeless. We wanted to be able to look back on our wedding photos in 20 years time and still love our décor as much as we will the day of the wedding.

Why did you choose to work with Penn Creative Collection?

When we were initially shown examples of the styling and florals that Tessa and the team at Penn Creative Collection have previously created, we immediately knew they were the right people to bring our vision for our wedding to reality. Their talent for creating stunning and eye-catching designs is second to none. Not only is their work unbelievably beautiful, but their knowledge of the castle means that they know how to utilise the space and different areas of the grounds for the best effect.

What has your experience with the team been like so far?

Working with the team at Penn Creative Collection has been a pleasure, making our wedding planning experience stress-free and enjoyable. They are communicative and responsive,  full of great ideas and they have offered valuable insight into how we can best incorporate the styling and florals into our big day.

What elements of floristry and styling for your day are most important to you?

We knew that on our day we wanted there to be a cohesive theme running through our florals from the bouquets, to the floral arrangements and the table centrepieces. We felt that this cohesiveness would create the timeless and elegant look that we had envisioned. Penn Creative Collection have been able to execute this in several ways, for example reusing the floral arrangements from our outdoor ceremony and the bouquets within the styling and centrepieces for our wedding breakfast. We have found it very helpful that Penn Creative Collection have sent us a comprehensive look-book with images and finer details that has been updated as our ideas for the day have developed.
