How do you select your wines?
The ethos behind our selection of wines and spirits is that they must have a story to tell, reflect the expectations of our guests and offer a range of price points.
For a truly exceptional wine experience, Penn Estate Cellar can also arrange consultation and tasting with The Dorset Wine Company in Poundbury, Dorchester. We work closely with Jonathan Charles and his team, and they’re happy to provide a bespoke wine-matching service for your event and host tasting for you on our behalf.

Champagne, wine, and alcohol-free alternatives for your welcome drinks, canapés and drinks reception, dining and evening function. The Pennsylvania Castle Estate Events team can help you choose your wines from a suitably wide range of options.
Of course. Your event is about you and your guests, and you may have specific themes, needs or tastes – so you’re more than welcome to pick and choose aspects of different packages with our design team. Or you can go completely off-piste and design your own drinks menu with support from Dorset Wines.

Yes, of course. All our wines are available to purchase by full or half-case. And you can order in advance to enjoy them together at the Castle, or to take home and enjoy after your stay.
Absolutely. During a licensed event, the Estate Team will run the bar even if you choose to provide your own drinks, as we hold the licence to do so.
You can order anything in the cellar from the Penn Estate e-shop at any time before, during or after your stay.
